Then go to the heading - "02.24.09 | Wisconsin State Assembly Floor Session (Part 1)", at the bottom of the text, click on "watch", then click "ok", when the video starts you can skip ahead to 15:00 by clicking on the progressive bar and dragging it along until you are at about 15:00. ReplyDeleteWhen I tried to reach you the other day, I was shocked & deeply saddened to learn of your passing. You were the most humble, intelligent, capable, hard working, compassionate, & approachable legislator whom I had ever met. You had so much compassion, talent, & wisdom to offer the world. I would have loved to see you working in this current administration...You were tireless & fearless in defending the downtrodden-what a great example/inspiration, & help, you'd be.
You were a great mentor, someone I was very proud to work for, and so very honored to call my friend. Although we might not have agreed on every single issue-you always respected my opinions & input-would hear me out-and found that we actually agreed on most. You always made me feel like my input was important-like I was important to you...You cared not only about your staff, your family, but you truly cared about all the hardworking people, the families, the single moms, the children, the poor, the disabled, the abused-they all mattered to you. I often regret my not being able to stay there with you to continue the fight. You were a wonderful example; and I pray to follow your example & the example of Jesus Christ...May he now take you under his wing as you took me-and so many others-under yours...May God Bless you & comfort those whom you've left behind.....
